Unfortunately a large percentage of companies do compensate their clients for
a testimonial. This practice in our opinion causes people to exaggerate,
glorify or completely falsify their statements simply because they're getting
something in return.
Once a year we send each of our clients an Annual Review Form. We
like to have our service reviewed by our clients just like in a typical job
where a review may be completed once or twice each year as an evaluation of an
employee. This review process helps to maintain our Superior Quality
standards and also shows us where we need improvement. This year
in addition to the Annual Review Form our clients are being asked for
permission to use some and/or all of their written review on the Arizona Pool
Pros website. Any client who allows us to do so will have a picture of
their pool posted next to their testimonial. Some of our clients prefer
to give their testimonial in a more indirect way by using websites like
AngiesList.com. This method
is much more comfortable for many people as the client is not having to tell
us directly where we need improvement. In our experience we've found
that people in general provide a more thorough and honest testimonial when
it's being given to a third party rather than the company in question.
The biggest benefit is that companies CAN NOT be
listed on AngiesList.com unless a
customer first posts a comment about the company and the company meets
and/or surpasses the standards and requirements set forth by
AngiesList.com.
